Emilia Elisabeth Riccio

Emilia Elisabeth Riccio (2006) is an Italian pianist whose musical identity blends academic rigor, refined sound research, and a marked interpretative sensitivity. She began studying piano at the age of 14, embarking on an intense and rapid artistic development that led her to pursue academic studies at the San Pietro a Majella Conservatory in Naples.

She continued her training under Maestro Roberto Giordano at the International Academy “Il Cantiere Musicale” in Mileto, deepening both solo and chamber repertoire. She has also attended masterclasses with internationally renowned musicians such as Vitaly Samonshko, Enrico Pace, Andrea Lucchesini, Nicolaas Kende, and Mariangela Vacatello, experiences that significantly shaped her technical and artistic maturity.

In June 2023, at just seventeen, she performed as a guest artist at the Festa della Musica in Ravello, presenting a program featuring Chopin études, Volodos’s transcription of the Rondo alla Turca, and variations by Fazıl Say. That same year, she took part informally in the Petit Festival in Dubrovnik.

On 29 October 2025, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance from the Naples Conservatory with the highest distinction (110 cum laude). A few months later, on 10 December, she performed at the Galleria d’Italia in Naples, receiving particular praise for her refined sound and stylistic coherence.

She has also given recitals at the International Academy “Il Cantiere Musicale” in Mileto, performing a repertoire ranging from Brahms and Beethoven to Debussy, and has interpreted Beethoven’s works at the Castle of Acerra.
